ERODE - ICAI

History of Branch

The Erode Branch of Southern India Regional Council of ICAI was set up on 16.02.1986. In 2004, branch was shifted to its own premises and it is commissioned by CA. R.BOOPATHY, the then president of ICAI. CA. M.R.Ramasamy was the first chairman of the branch. The branch premise is approximately 6000 square feet and has all common facilities. It has a state of art air conditioned meeting hall with best of the sound system. It has a well maintained library and reading hall for use of members and students.

The branch was started with 30 members and at present it has more than 188 members. Branch is managed by a six member managing committee and its sub committees.

This is the first instance of my reach to the members through this message after elevation as chairman for Erode branch of SIRC of ICAI. With great sense of pride and honour I have taken up this responsibility conferred upon me

The activities of the branch have increased year after year and this is a challenge for every incoming chairman to rise to the expectation of the members in organizing the programs of the branch.
